Admission Policy
Registration and Immunization
The parent or guardian of a new pupil or student must present to the School Office a copy of the pupil’s birth certificate and evidence of up-to-date immunization before an admission offer letter is issued.
It is critical that the School is notified immediately of any changes in name, address, phone number, or any other information provided at the time of registration. Please contact the office to make any necessary changes.
Riverside Schools comply with all Federal and State laws concerning pupil and students’ records. Information regarding a pupil or student’s progress will be shared only with parents or guardians and appropriate members of the School’s faculty, staff and any professional consultants retained for the purpose of measuring and/or improving instructional quality.
People and groups interested in our programmes may visit the School. If for any reason, you do not wish to have your child photographed, videotaped or otherwise contacted by the media, please inform the School Office in writing.
Elementary School
At RMS pupils are placed on the basis of age and must have attained the ages stated below by the first day of September in the year of registration
- Reception 1 – 18 months
- Reception 2 – 2 years
- Nursery 1 – 3 years
- Nursery 2 – 4 years
- Grade 1 – 5 years
- Grade 2 – 6 years
- Grade 3 – 7 years
- Grade 4 – 8 years
- Grade 5 – 9 years
- Grade 6 – 10 years
College
At Riverside College, a student coming into JS1 must be 10 years by the first day of September of the academic session.
In the case of transfer students, such a child must have attained the ages stated below for the respective classes, by the first day of September of the academic session.
JS2 - 11 years
JS3 - 12 years
SS1 - 13 years
SS2 - 14 years
